I'm a Lead Data Scientist at ALDI SÜD - International Data & Analytics Services GmbH, Germany. Before joining ALDI SÜD, I worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Fraunhofer FIT, Germany and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. I obtained a PhD in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University in Explainable AI (XAI) with distinction (Summa Cum Laude). I received the best application paper award at IEEE International Conference on Data Science & Advanced Analytics (DSAA'2020), Sydney, Australia. I was awarded the prestigious RWTH Aachen "ICT Young Researcher Award" in 2020 for my outstanding contributions to ICT research. I also received the "Fraunhofer ICT Dissertation Award 2023". Besides, I received the prestigious "Borchers Plaque" as a badge of honour from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, in 2023.
